A locked wild is a special slot symbol that remains fixed in position on the reels for multiple spins or during a bonus feature. Locked wilds increase the chances of forming winning combinations because they continue substituting for regular symbols across several rounds. This feature is commonly found in free spins and bonus modes in online slots.
