Cascading reels are a slot game mechanic where winning symbols disappear after forming a winning combination, allowing new symbols to fall into place. This can create additional winning opportunities from a single spin without placing another wager. Cascading reels are also known as tumbling reels or avalanche reels and are commonly featured in modern online slots.
