A yellow card is a football disciplinary warning issued by the referee for fouls, unsporting behaviour, or rule violations. A player who receives multiple yellow cards in the same match may be sent off with a red card. Yellow card statistics and booking markets are popular in football betting and live sportsbook wagering.
