A technical knockout, commonly abbreviated as TKO, occurs when a referee, doctor, or corner stops a fight because a competitor is unable to safely continue. Unlike a standard knockout, the fighter may still be conscious when the bout is ended. TKO betting markets are widely available in boxing and MMA sportsbooks.
