Split Decision
A split decision is a combat sports result where two judges score the fight in favour of one fighter, while the third judge scores it for the opponent. The fighter receiving the majority of judges’ scorecards is declared the winner. Split decisions are common in boxing and MMA betting and often indicate a closely contested fight.
