A knockout, commonly abbreviated as KO, occurs when a fighter is unable to continue after being struck, resulting in an immediate end to the fight. In boxing and MMA betting, sportsbooks often offer markets on whether a fight will end by knockout, submission, or decision. Knockouts are one of the most popular outcomes in combat sports wagering.
